Ingredients and production
Clean and truly natural ingredients are important to us,For only good ingredients, good products produce good products. All ingredients of our products are carefully selected; We use organic certified raw materials and wild plants that have grown wild in the pure nature of the north. Our production follows the criteria for certified natural cosmetics. In our product development, we always start moving on how to make the product as natural but at the same time functional. The concentration of organic farmed or wild raw materials is particularly high in our products. Genuine, natural ingredients contain a wide variety of important ingredients, such as vitamins, antioxidants and good quality fatty acids.
Organic and eco-certified ingredients
We use organic certified raw materials whenever possible. Most of our ingredients are certified organic and wild plants that have grown wild. You recognize these ingredients with a star listed from our ingredient lists. The preservatives we use and other cosmetics are also always in line with natural cosmetics standards. Our mineral makeup does not contain nanoparticles and the raw materials are eco-certified. We are also a member of the Finnish Pro Nature Cosmetics Association. We get raw materials from both Finland and abroad. We get domestic raw materials such as heather, juniper, northern berries and their seed oils from our partners in Finland in Lapland. Nettle and marigold we are supplied by an organic farm in a well -known organic space.
Indeed, our efforts are to increase the share of domestic raw materials in our products. Foreign raw materials come from high-quality and reliable European actors, through which we provide high-quality raw materials approved and certified in natural cosmetics. We also actively monitor the development of natural cosmetics ingredients and new innovations.

Shelf life
We make most of our products completely without preservatives. Because water -containing products need storage ingredients, this means in practice that we make a lot of different water -free products. For example, oil -based serums, body butter, face oils, shampoos and soaps are all preservative. Our face mask is made in powder, whereby water is added to the product only at the time of use. This keeps the product well without preservative.
However, there are products that cannot be manufactured without preservatives. Such products include, for example, water -based emulsion creams and face water. For these products, we have selected the best natural preservatives on the market, which are mild and EcoCert approved. Permission can also be affected by the way of packaging; Our products are packed in dark glass bottles, from which the product is hygienically administered through a pump or spray cork.
Northern plants
We are particularly proud of our domestic ingredients. Northern nature plants grow in rugged conditions where a short intense summer with nightless nights causes the plants to store an exceptional amount of bioactive protective agents. Plants are collected from clean Arctic areas. Using these pure ingredients in northern nature in skin care, you can prevent signs of skin aging and improve your skin condition.

Fragrance components such as Linalool, Citral, Limonee are marked with a star on our Inci list of our products. This means that we do not add these substances to the products as such, but are a natural part of essential oils. In synthetic cosmetics, fragrances are most often used as such substances as such, whereby they have identified allergenic effects. However, according to cosmetics legislation, these substances should be marked on the inci list of the product, even if they come as part of natural essential oil.

However, ethereal oil is much more than just one substance. It is a complex compound produced by the plant that cannot be synthetically copied. In genuine essential oil, the ingredients are in harmony with each other and there is both synergies and extinguishing phenomena. Although the essential oil contains one of the allergens defined by the EU, there are other ingredients that balance the whole and extinguish the poor properties of other substances.
Studies show that the relationship between these substances is of great importance to how the product reacts on the skin. Thus, individual fragrance molecules cannot be equated with the same thing as whole essential oil. For this reason, many tolerate essential oils better than synthetic scents.
Good to remember: Essential oil is naturally in plants. Peeling the orange exposure to a greater amount of essential oil than many products contain. Persons who are strongly reacted to the scent may not tolerate essential oils, and natural cosmetics are not allergic -free.
Packaging
We choose the packaging materials carefully to be as nature friendly and recyclable as possible. We use a lot of cardboard and glass, which are easily recyclable materials. For some products, we have chosen plastic as the packaging material, if best suited to the product, taking into account the transportation and use of the product. We only use plastic suitable for recycling.

MANUFACTURING
We have experience in product development of natural cosmetics since 2004. Flow products are manufactured in Riihimäki in our own small factory, where we develop the recipes ourselves and make the products from start to finish. We know our products thoroughly, as the entire production process takes place under one roof, from handling raw materials to the product to customers.
The products are made in small batches and the cycle of our warehouse is fast, so we always send our customers fresh. Our production resembles a large kitchen; We make soap masses in large pots, from which the masses are poured into molds. The creams are also mixed in large kitchen pots.
Our products are genuine handicraft, real artisan cosmetics from us.
