Dry Skin

Dry skin can be caused by various factors, including genetics, climate, stress, or inappropriate skincare products. There are two types of dryness: dehydration and lipid dryness. Dehydrated skin lacks water, while lipid-dry skin lacks oil. Lipid-dry skin has reduced oil production, often making it rough and flaky, and thus it requires additional moisture from skincare products.

Dry skin especially benefits from rich and nourishing facial oils. These oils lock in moisture and prevent it from evaporating. Hyaluronic acid and honey, which retain moisture, are also suitable for dry skin. These ingredients are effective for treating dehydrated skin as well.
