The ABC of Chakras

What are chakras?

Our bodies have seven so-called main chakras: the root chakra, sacral chakra, solar plexus chakra, heart chakra, throat chakra, third eye chakra, and crown chakra.

Chakras are energy centers through which life energy, or prana, flows in the subtle energy channels of our body. When the chakras are in balance, life energy flows freely, vitalizing the body, mind, and spirit. We receive this energy from everywhere - from the environment, the sun, plants, stones, food, and the people around us.

Sometimes events experienced in life may affect our body's subtle energy system, causing harmful beliefs and thought patterns that are activated repeatedly when facing similar situations again. This can result in negative feelings and sensations, energy depletion, fatigue, various fears, and depression in the body and mind.

To allow our life energy to flow freely and live a fulfilling, authentic life, it's beneficial to work with and balance the chakras.

High-vibrational energy nourishes our own energy, making us feel well. Especially positive thoughts and gratitude elevate our vibration. Practices such as yoga, dance, meditation, music, art, the scents of genuine essential oils, the energy of stones, positive affirmations, and healthy, wellbeing-producing lifestyle habits contribute to the free flow of life energy.

The First, Root Chakra

Located at the base of the spine.

Color - Red

The root chakra is strongly associated with life's physical and spiritual basic needs, survival, and the feeling of basic security, which is like bedrock beneath our feet. When the root chakra is balanced, basic trust guides your life, and you feel contentment, balance, and inner strength.

The Second, Sacral Chakra

Located slightly below the navel in the lower abdomen.

Color - Orange

The center of emotions, creativity, and fertile forces, encouraging spontaneity and enjoyment of life. When the sacral chakra is balanced, even unfiltered emotions can be felt as original by being open and natural.

Flowing Emotion – YLANG YLANG & GRAPEFRUIT

The Third, Solar Plexus Chakra

Located in the area between the sternum and the navel.

Color - Yellow

The center of personal power and wisdom, life control, self-esteem, and joy, also known as the inner sun or core center.

When the third chakra is balanced, inner life is harmonious, there's no need to control oneself or others, and one can understand the significance of various life experiences, even the difficult ones, for personal development.

The Fourth, Heart Chakra

Located in the middle of the chest.

Colors - Green and Pink

The center of love, compassion, acceptance, and trust, also known as the gateway of the soul.

When the heart center is balanced, gentleness and love guide all actions. Compassion and helpfulness are natural and are expressed without self-sacrifice or expectation of feedback.

Touch of Love – ROSE & GERANIUM

• Rose essential oil soothes the mind and skin
• Geranium balances hormone production, removes excess fluid from the body, and uplifts mood

The Fifth, Throat Chakra

Located in the area of the neck.

Color - Sky blue

The center of communication and listening, strengthening self-expression.

Its main task is truthful communication. When the throat chakra is balanced, it's easy to speak the truth and express feelings clearly.

Deep trust in one's intuition and senses.

When the third eye chakra is balanced, the mind is clear, open, and focused.

• Strengthens intuition
• Promotes sleep
• Deepens meditation

The Seventh, Crown Chakra

Located on the top of the head, even slightly above it.

Color - Pale violet, white, and gold

The crown chakra is the gateway to higher levels of consciousness, spirituality, peace, freedom from all limitations, and unity with the universe.

The opening of the crown chakra requires complete surrender to universal life energy.

The carrier of a balanced crown chakra is serene, fearless, and truly one with the universe.
